Aaron Benz is the CEO and Founder of Degree Analytics, and an Associate Researcher at the Broad Insitute. A mathematician at heart, Aaron has dedicated the past nine years to advancing analytics in higher education. His innovative work earned him a fully issued utility patent for machine learning systems in student engagement, along with numerous awards, including “Trendsetter”, “Leadership”, and “Cool Tool” Edtech Finalist Awards, SIIA CODiE Award Finalist, and ASU-GSV Top Innovator. Aaron’s expertise is evidenced by his publication on SARS-CoV-2 surveillance in Med & Cell Med, and his inclusion in the 2018 Hall of Honor at Eastern University. Aaron developed a comprehensive system to analyze campus usage and engagement across 200MM SQFT, utilizing billions of data points monthly. Aaron’s leadership and technical acumen continue to drive Degree Analytics’ mission to enhance student success and operational excellence through data-driven insights.
