Technology Strategy Executive for Higher Education
Cheryl Altany has more than 25 years of experience in transforming global corporate organizations and new technology introductions. She has served as Global IT leader in technology solutions, mobility, telco and services including management consulting (IBM, HP, Perot Systems, ICL Fujitsu). Her background experience also includes positions as Associate Dean for two new university campuses; guest lecturer for graduate students in UK. Cheryl is actively re-defining approaches to academic and “living lab” environments on intelligent campuses. She has served as the Chair for the Corporate Education Council for Research and Development and Consulting where she has designed curriculum and delivered plans for global populations. Cheryl earned her B.A. degree in Journalism and English at the University of Minnesota; She earned a M.A. in Higher Education Administration at Bowling Green State University, an MBA at Florida International University, and is a Ph.D. candidate (ABD) in International Management/ Organizational Design (Nova Southeastern University). She has dual citizenship in the UK and US.
