Mr. Bobadilla has over 25 years of extensive experience leading large and complex, private and public real estate development and business operations, overseeing over $6 billion in real estate development and capital-building programs and annual operating budgets of over $ 240 million. This has included an oversight of various functional areas, including real estate, capital planning, design, construction, sustainability, facilities maintenance,  operating/capital budgets, contracting, fleet and logistics, food services, risk management,  law enforcement/security services, management, and environmental health & safety. He has managed real estate portfolios containing over 35 million square feet of facilities and led teams comprising more than 7,000 employees. 

Currently, Mr. Bobadilla is leading the development, planning, design, construction,  maintenance, and facility operations at Miami Dade College (MDC), one of the largest colleges in the nation with eight campuses throughout South Florida. He is also part of the leadership team that oversees the College’s emergency management operations. 

Mr. Bobadilla’s credentials include being a Licensed Attorney, Certified General Contractor,  Licensed Real Estate Sales Associate, LEED AP BD+C, CEFP, and PMP. He leverages his analytical, coaching, and emotional intelligence skills to drive data-driven operations,  customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. He is passionate about delivering real estate development, capital-building programs, and business operations that exceed customer expectations. 

Mr. Bobadilla’s leadership and his team’s accomplishments have been recognized with awards and honors from best practice organizations, including the Distinguished Service  Award-CGCS, ASBO Facilities Masters Award, Facility Champion Award-FacilitiesNet,  Distinguished Supplier Diversity Award, and Leadership in Action Award. 

In the last six years, he and his team have implemented over 100 major capital building projects across all MDC campuses. This work has included facilities to support programs such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), electric vehicle technician training, law enforcement training, and state-of-the-art medical facilities, including a simulation hospital. This work has been done with a focus on elevating the student experience.
