Margaret Lutton is the Executive Director of Academic Facilities Planning for Tarrant County College District. She has a Bachelor of Architecture from Texas Tech University and her background includes 10 years in commercial architecture. She moved to teaching in 1997 and taught for the college for 12 years before landing a position with the Real Estate and Facilities department, 5 years ago. Recently, she implemented a culture change model called the “Innovation Forum”, which helps the college prioritize any initiative requiring funding, based on the college’s strategic vision and what’s important to the administration. The Forums document the college’s decision making process on large capital expenditures and relate everything back to student success
