Sherwood Wilson was a featured speaker at HEFF 2019.
Sherwood Wilson is the Vice President for Operations at Virginia Tech where he is responsible for oversight and management of all of the university’s safety and security operations and physical resources.
Wilson has served higher education as an administrator and adjunct faculty for 30 years. Previous higher education positions he has held include Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration and COO at The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; Associate Vice President for Finance and Administration at Ohio University; Director of Construction & Renovations, as well as Director of Physical Plant at Virginia Tech; and Chief Facilities Officer at Alderson Broaddus College in Philippi, West Virginia. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology from Fairmont State College, a Master of Science in Architecture/Construction Management from Virginia Tech, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Ohio University.
